The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.

That really sucked. A couple of days ago I sent an email to HP Support because my Start Menu and photo printing stuff wasn't working right, today I got an email back saying how to fix it. They wanted me to:

1. Insert the Windows XP cd.
2. Start the notebook and keep tapping esc to get the boot menu.
3. Select the "boot from cd" option.
4. The system will boot from XP cd and start the setup process.
5. Follow the on screen instructions and choose repair when prompted.

Well, that was all well and good up until step 5... instead of there being "Install", "Repair", etc. options, it started to re-install Windows XP. No warning. Nothing. So I immediatly shut down the computer, apparently not quick enough. When I booted back up I got several unfamiliar loading screens and finally the three worst words I think I have ever read: No OS detected. At that point I just sat there and stared at the screen for a good five minutes. After that I knew there was nothing else to do but to go ahead and finish the Windows re-install. Luckily we were already done with out school programs on the computer; however, my music library (200+ songs) as well as my websites (thankfully I uploaded the important ones yesterday) and images were not backed-up online. So I will be spending the last day of my summer reinstalling all the programs, downloading what files happened to be uploaded, changing settings, and typing up text files that were murderized. Wish me luck and sanity!

Frames

I just learned how to set up frames in a page and have a link open in a certain frame. For the link add the "target=XXXX" tag, XXXX being the name of the frame that you want the link to open in.

That just plain sucked

WARNING, THIS IS A RANT.

Well, today is the day before the halo party, or actually it is the day of the halo party now...anyhow, being the day it is, or was, i figured i would get some practice in on live. I got on, the first game i played i had redline the entire game, but we still managed to win, and i got second on my team. Second game, again redline, again victory, but this time i led my team. I was getting rather annoyed by this whole constant lag thing, so i reset my internet, got on, played a game, redline, but yet another victory, so i figured, why not? im winning anyway. i played again, made it to a level 30!!!! (i bet no ones gunna beleive me though) so i said to myself, i have got to stop lagging if i want to keep this. i tried resetting it again, start up my xbox, my first game i was probaly around yellow most of the game, but i wasnt paying attention to that, i was paying more attention to the stupid bloody deleveler on our team who claimed that he was deleveling because we werent worthy of having him play with us. So far i had been pretty relaxed, didnt really mind the lag, but that really ticked me off, finally made it to level 30 and some crap-for-brains good-for-nothing goes and makes me loose my first game as a 30. Then i made the biggest mistake of the night, playing xbox live with lag as a level 30 while i was extremely ticked.  I dont know why, i think xbox live must have telepathically known how ticked i was at it, so it gave me the most evil of all evil gametypes, rockets on backwash , not only that but one of my teammates was a lvl 10(boosting) and a level 34, and just as a coup de'grace my entire team was redlining the entire game. Needless to say it was possibly the worst ive ever been beaten while actually trying, i think it was sumwhere around 50 to 12, and i was sumwhere near the bottom of my team. So there goes my level 30, lost it in two games, to a deleveler and a completely laggy game. so i would just like to extend my gratitude to my two most favorite coperations in the world, Microsoft xbox live (for not allowing there to be a way to report griefers) and CenturyTel (for providing the most unreliable internet connection i have ever experienced, How many people are one live at midnight in plum city!?!?!?!?!?). Thanks.
